Department Information

The Diamond Springs-El Dorado Fire Protection district provides fire suppression, rescue and emergency medical services to the communities of Diamond Springs, El Dorado, Sleepy Hollow, Logtown, Missouri Flat, Nashville and Sandridge. The District serves approximately 11,731 residents and covers 65.5 square miles in a semi urban and rural setting. Fire District personnel are made up of career, volunteer and limited term employees. We have a total of 5 stations. Our main station is staffed 24 hours per day. We also provide mutual aid for Fire, Rescue and EMS emergencies to 12 other fire districts in the county that serve a greater population of 180,000 and cover 2000 square miles.
