6.                  Dinners and Parties

6.1              Dinner will be served at 1830 hours before any regular business meeting except during the months in which a social function is planned.

6.1.1        The cooks for the dinner meeting are limited to one check per meeting, and/or the use of purchase orders to vendors where the Association has accounts.  The amount of funds expended for the dinner shall be limited to the budgeted amount.  (See Appendix 1 for expense reimbursement.)

6.2              Monthly dinners are open to:

6.2.1        All active, retired and honorary Association members.

6.2.2        Association invited guest(s). *

6.2.3        Personal guest(s) ($3.00 per person).  

* An Association guest shall be approved by the President or the E-Board 24 hours prior to the meeting.

6.3              Association functions, other than monthly dinners, are open to:

6.3.1        All active, retired and honorary Association members and one guest.

6.3.2        Association invited guest(s).

6.3.3        When appropriate, Association members’ children.

6.3.4        Personal guests, over and above the guest mentioned in 6.4.1, of a member will be charged  per guest,  as determined by the Committee Chairperson of the specific function.

6.4              Members inviting a guest to a dinner or function are responsible for their guest and the required payment.
