Standards of Cover

Dear Community Member,
The Fire District presents this report to the communities we serve in a candid attempt to inform the public about:

· The history and formation of the fire and emergency services in our communities

· The historical abilities of the District and a current assessment of our capabilities to deal with emergencies and service demands

· The risk factors facing each community we serve

· The implications of current service abilities - for the community, individual home owner, and business person -  as development and cost increases affect our service levels

· The District’s response to the findings of this ongoing study process 

This process included the efforts of the employees of the Fire District, the elected Board Members of the District, consultants and peers from other agencies, the business community, various community groups, and individuals from our community.  This process will be ongoing and is intended to identify our strong points as well as our weak.  We seek perfection and are committed to being a work in progress.
