I. This standard is promulgated pursuant to section 103.5.2 of the California Fire Code as adopted by the Diamond Springs / El Dorado Fire Protection District.
II.
Fire District Permit, Plan Review and Inspection Fees are charged to
offset the costs of personnel and materials associated in performing the tasks
of the fire
prevention division. Fees approximate the actual cost of the service and will
be reassessed annually. The fee assessment will be based on the prior year
expenditures. Fees may remain unchanged, pending reassessment.
III. The fee schedule will be illustrated in Appendix 604-1 (revision 2005/2006) and may be revised annually as and administrative function.
IV.
If the plans(s) submitted for review are, in the opinion of the Fire
Marshal, complicated or would take an excessive amount of time to review, he/she
may submit
such plans to an approved outside agency or person for review. The direct
cost for subcontracted review would be passed through to the submitter.
District cost
would not apply for these services.
V. A project timecard will be initiated upon application. Fees will be collected upon issuance of an occupancy permit.
VI. Fees will be collected at the main administration offices for the Diamond Springs/El Dorado Fire Protection District.
VII. Fees collected will be tracked through the Fire Prevention Division and receipts issued upon collection of the fee.
