I. Overview

Personnel are assigned responsibilities in addition to their normal duties to meet the needs of the district. A person assigned a collateral duty is expected to monitor and maintain the activities of the assigned area, including budgeting, budget monitoring, ordering and maintenance.

II. The following collateral duties may be assigned to personnel:

A. Apparatus and Equipment Maintenance

B. Buildings and Grounds

C. Cleaning and Maintenance Supplies

C. Communications

D. Emergency Medical Training

E. Exposure Control Officer

F. Fire Prevention

G. Hose

H. Medical Supplies

I. Protective Clothing

J. Safety Officer

K. Self Contained Breathing Apparatus
