I. The business hours for the headquarters station of the Diamond Springs - El Dorado Fire Protection District (Station 49) shall be 0800 hours to 1700 hours, Monday through Friday, exclusive of district recognized holidays.

A. When the Administrative Assistant is not in the office, a reasonable attempt will be made to keep it staffed with other personnel.

B. When the office is not staffed, a sign will be placed at the front door stating that the office is not staffed.

II. Stations 44, 46, 47 and 48 do not have office staff assigned to them, and will not observe office hours.

III. All personnel shall make every reasonable attempt to make themselves available to the public by answering phones or handling personal contacts when on duty or in quarters, whether or not office hours are in effect.
